  1. How do I access HD Quality Picture

    If a show is streamed in HD, you may receive an HD quality picture with a subscription to TheBlaze TV or TheBlaze TV plus, installation of our NexDef software, and an Internet connection with consistent bandwidth of at least 3 Mbps. NexDef enables TheBlaze TV and TheBlaze TV plus subscribers to view HD Quality video streams, and gives TheBlaze TV plus subscribers the ability to pause and rewind live shows. For an optimal viewing experience we recommend that you install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player 10.

  2. Do I have NexDef?

    TheBlaze TV subscribers, if you do not have the ability to pause and rewind live show action; you do not have the latest version of NexDef. When you click on the video control bars or DVR controls, the player may prompt you to install or upgrade NexDef, as displayed below. Follow the links in the prompt to install NexDef.

    You can install NexDef from our Download Center. NexDef enables all TheBlaze TV subscribers to view HD Quality video streams, and gives TheBlaze TV plus subscribers the ability to pause and rewind live shows.

  5. How do I access a live show with my TheBlaze TV plus subscription?

    The schedule of each day's live shows is accessible from most pages on TheBlaze TV. To access it, just click the link that reads "SCHEDULE" in the horizontal menu on top of the page.

    Once a show broadcast is live, there will be a "Watch Now" graphic in the upper-right corner of the link in the Schedule page. The live show will also be featured in the schedule with a "Watch Now" link.

    Clicking on the link for the show will open a separate window with the media player. If you are not already logged in, you will be asked to log in to your TheBlaze TV account. Once you have logged in the show will begin to play.

  6. How do I access an archived show with my TheBlaze TV plus subscription?

    First, the schedule of each day's live shows is accessible from most pages on TheBlaze TV. To access it, just click the link that reads "SCHEDULE" in the horizontal menu on top of the page.

    Approximately 30 minutes after a show is completed it will be archived and available for on demand viewing. This will be indicated by the "Watch Archive" text link below the show title and description. You can find these archived shows in the same location as the live shows in the Schedule page.

    You can also navigate to archived shows from the past 30 days by clicking on the "Open Calendar" link above the schedule and selecting the date of the show that you would like to watch.

  7. How can I install Adobe Flash Player?

    You can install Adobe Flash Player here.

    Windows users, keep in mind that Internet Explorer requires an installation separate from the installation using Firefox, Chrome or other browsers. If you use multiple Internet browsers you will need to install Adobe Flash Player separately, one time for Internet Explorer and one time all other Internet browsers.

    For an optimal viewing experience we recommend that you install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player 10.

  8. Can I access my subscription from any computer, anywhere, at anytime?

    Yes. As long as the computer meets the system requirements then you can log in with your registered email address and password to access your subscription from anywhere at anytime.

  9. Can I share my account with others?

    No. Sharing of your username and password is strictly prohibited.

  10. I am trying to access a show and I am getting an error message that I am already logged in on another computer, what should I do?

    In rare cases, customers have forgotten to log out of their account on one computer and have tried to log in again on a separate computer. Since sharing of a single username and password is strictly prohibited, you will get an error message. If you receive such an error message, please contact Customer Service Department. for further assistance.

  11. The show has started, but the link to view the show live is not available, what do I do?

    You may need to reload the page where you are waiting for the link to go live. Click the Refresh button in your Internet browser.

  12. Should I log in first or can I go straight to the show?

    You must be logged in to begin viewing or listening to a show. If you click to view or listen to a show before logging in to TheBlaze TV, the window that opens with the media player will prompt you to log in.

  13. I tried to log in to view a show and received a message telling me that I have logged in too many times, or am logged in on multiple computers. What should I do?

    Please confirm that other people are not using your account. If you have shared your account information with other people, then you may be prevented from logging in to your account. If you are worried that others are accessing your account, you should change your password under your account profile.

    The best way to prevent this error is to log out of TheBlaze TV every time you are finished watching video by clicking the Logout button on the top right of any TheBlaze TV page. The next time that you would like to watch video, you will be prompted to login before the video launches.

    If you have already seen this error message and you are sure that no one else is using your account, log out of TheBlaze TV, close all of your open browser windows and exit your browser. Next, re-launch your browser and click on the show that you would like to watch either on the schedule or on the show page. You will be prompted to log in again.

  14. How can I view an TheBlaze TV show on a Roku Player?

    To view TheBlaze TV shows on Roku, you must first have a Roku Player and be an TheBlaze TV or TheBlaze TV plus subscriber. To purchase a subscription to TheBlaze TV or TheBlaze TV plus, please click here.

    To register your Roku Player for use with your TheBlaze TV subscription, go to your Roku Player's Home Screen and navigate to the Log In menu item. Then, enter your username/email address and password that is associated with your TheBlaze TV subscription. If you do not have an TheBlaze TV account, select to Buy and Activate TheBlaze TV. If you do not see the TheBlaze TV Channel listed, you can download it by going to the Channel Store on your Roku Player. In the store select TheBlaze TV, and then click to "Add Channel". Select "Yes" to confirm that you would like to install the channel, then, once it has been added click "Go to Channel" or select the TheBlaze TV Channel from your list of channels on the home screen of your Roku Player to launch the TheBlaze TV Channel.

    If you do not have an TheBlaze TV account, Buy and Activate TheBlaze TV.

    To view a show, after launching the TheBlaze TV Channel you can select the date of the show that you would like to watch from the top header bar. Next, press "Select" on your Roku remote control. The schedule of all shows for that day will appear and, after a show is selected, you will see a show screen.

    If you select a show that has not yet begun, you will see a message prompting you to come back when the show is live.

    If you are unable to view a show and see a message stating that you need to update your account information, go to the Payment Profile section of your account settings on TheBlaze TV and enter the most current information.

  15. How do I install NexDef?

    NexDef is available for download in the TheBlaze TV Download Center. You can also access the Download Center in the Help & FAQs section

    From the Download Center, click on the "Download" button in the NexDef section on the right side of the page.

    In the window that opens up, click to "Download TheBlaze TV NexDef".

    On a Windows computer, choose "Run" in the prompt to run or save the file.

    On a Mac, download the installation file and then open the file. Double click on the TheBlaze TV NexDef Plug-in file inside of it.

    Continue through the prompts until your installation is complete.

  16. How do I enable NexDef's features in the TheBlaze TV Media Player?

    The TheBlaze TV NexDef plug-in brings additional functionality to the media player such as higher quality HD video and more. To adjust the video quality in the media player, click on "Video Quality" in the bar along the bottom of the player. In this section, you can toggle between Standard and NexDef quality levels. NexDef quality is higher HD quality than what is available in Standard mode. Under "Video Quality", you can also disable or enable the media player's ability to automatically adjust the quality. To manually set the quality level yourself, click on the green bar representing the quality level that you would like to use.

    In the media player's settings, you can configure the player to always launch with NexDef enabled. If you would like to do this, click on "Settings" on the top left of the media player. In the settings window, check the box next to "Enable NexDef by default". Another media player setting that NexDef can enable is the ability to launch live in-progress shows from their beginning, instead of the current live action of the show. To enable this feature, check the box next to "Play live shows from the start". After you are finished adjusting the media player settings, click "Save".

  17. How can I log in to my TheBlaze TV account and watch a show?

    You can log into your TheBlaze TV account by clicking on "Login" on the top right of all TheBlaze TV pages. On the subsequent page enter the email address and password that you used to register your TheBlaze TV account. Once you are logged in to your account, during a live show, you can click on the 'LIVE NOW' graphic on the right side of the TheBlaze TV homepage to watch a show in progress.

    You can also launch a live or archived show from the TheBlaze TV Schedule. To access the Schedule, put your mouse over where it says "GBTV" in the horizontal menu bar on the top of most TheBlaze TV pages. In the drop down menu that follows, click on "Watch/Listen". This will take you to the Schedule.

    On the Schedule page, click the item that reads "LIVE NOW" listed at the top of the page.

    If you are not already logged in to TheBlaze TV when you launch a show, the media player will prompt you to log in, once it has opened. In the login prompt, enter the email address and password that you have registered your TheBlaze TV account with. Once you are logged in, the show will begin playing. From the Schedule page, you can also select an older archived show (up to 30 days) with the "Open Calendar" and Previous or Next Day options. If you click "Open Calendar", you can select the date of the game that you would like to watch. Launch the archive by clicking on the desired broadcast.

  18. How do I use the DVR functionality in the TheBlaze TV Media Player?

    The TheBlaze TV Media Player has many features that allow you to fast forward, rewind, and jump to different parts of the show. With the NexDef plug-in, TheBlaze TV subscribers can access these features in a live show and in an archive. Scroll over the lower part of the video and the media player's control bar will appear. In the controls is a bar that you can use to scroll to a different part of the show, as well as controller buttons. The curved arrow button rewinds the player for ten seconds.

    Clicking on the rewind button once will rewind the video at 2X speed in thirty second intervals, clicking on it a second time will rewind at 4X speed in one minute intervals, and clicking it a third time will move it to 8X speed with one minute and thirty seconds intervals. To resume the video, click the play button. The fast forward button works the same as the rewind button. There is also a "Slow-Mo" button and a "Live" button which, when watching a live show, will return you to the live action of the show.

  19. How do I configure TheBlaze TV Media Player settings?

    The TheBlaze TV Media Player has customizable settings that allow you to configure certain functionalities of the media player. To access these settings, when watching a video, click on "Settings" on the top left of the media player.

    "Enable NexDef by default" sets the media player to enable NexDef once the media player is launched. NexDef must be installed for this feature to work. Having this option enabled allows the media player to start streaming at the best possible quality level. It also allows the media player to access NexDef required functionality at launch.

    Under Full-Screen, switching from "Native" to "Dual-Monitor" allows subscribers with multiple monitors to view the media player in full screen in one monitor, while continuing to use other programs or browser windows in another monitor.

    The option to "Play live shows from the start" will have the media player launch an in-progress show at the start of the show, to prevent you from seeing the show in progress when it opens. To enable this feature, NexDef is required.

  20. How can I watch video in Full Screen mode in the TheBlaze TV Media Player?

    To watch video in Full Screen mode, click on the Full Screen icon in the bottom right corner of the Media Player. Once in Full Screen, to go back to the default player size press the ESC key on your keyboard.

  21. How can I watch TheBlaze TV subscription video on my mobile device?

    TheBlaze TV subscription video is currently supported only on iOS devices using the TheBlaze TV app, which is available for free download from iTunes. After successfully downloading the TheBlaze TV app to your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, simply launch the application and then click the 'More' tab at the bottom of the screen. On the subsequent screen select 'Account Management' link to enter your TheBlaze TV username and password, which will allow you to watch subscription TheBlaze TV video.

    TheBlaze TV is not currently supported on other mobile and tablet devices including Android, Vizio, Playbook and Touchpad, but please note that we continue to evaluate TheBlaze TV support for additional mobile devices.
